it’s day 6 without a phone, it’s interesting how it’s working, i don’t even have a home phone, so my only mean of digital communication is well, msn, of course my gf gets quite a bit more calls from the guys (eric you rank #1!), other than that, it’s so not different, how dependent is my world to the communication world and to be reachable, well i guess sadly (in a way), not very

nevertheless, i still managed to go and hunt my way for the boxing day deals, still got up at 6:30am and head to my usual boxing day shopping routine – robson street, thanks to the snow (and recession) there’s about 1/3 of the usually crowd to fight with

- after 6 hrs on robson, and then went to future shop and best buy on the same night, richmond ctr and aberdeen mall the next day, my personal damage for boxing day shopping is about $90 – got a pair of dress shoes and a tokidoki tiger, plus $50 headphones from ncix, that doesn’t include food and transportation, and a talula jacket from aritzia for my baby

- after days of browsing fs and bb online, and rfd about twice a day from 24th to 27th, i picked up a new camera – panasonic lumix fx35 for $200, it was unnecessary but it was a good deal, and my false sense of money saving said to me, do it! you saved $150!

- the critical blow to my visa – my new computer is now complete, it came up just over 900 in total, then less 60 on mail in rebate, just gotta wait for ncix to freakin send me email so i can pick all the parts up, of course there’s still 1 more day for me to return my mobo/vid card, cause a p5q/4850/500 gig hd will prbbly save me another 150

and that’s how 2008 will end for me, another $$$ visa bill

so, december has been a pretty crazy month

i lost my bus pass after a week ($99)

i lost my visa card cause i was so dumb

i will be buying a new computer (in fact, ncix sale starts today at 4pm!), my budget is still around 800 before tax

i won a $100 futureshop gift card from news 1130

i somehow manage to jay walk across the street in front of a cop car, TWICE

it’s snowing like mad, and i still have a few more things to buy for the guys, but i havn’t got stuck yet with my all season tires

and then i lost my phone, gg

i got a called from an unknown number yesterday, and lately i’ve been getting lots of stupid marketing/survey phone calls (like from +100000000), so nowadays i usually pick up and go, “andy’s not here right now can i take a message”, and yesterday i got another one of those, and then i said “andy’s in a meeting”, and then she said, “this is erin from news 1130“, and then i was like oh oops this is a real call! but my head didn’t spin around fast enough (cause i could’ve just said oh wait i’m andy ya what’s up), so i just took down her phone number, and then i called back 5 min after lol

and then she said i won $100 bux gift card to futureshop! thanks news1130! now do i want headphones or ipod dock or valkyria chronicles

yesterday i saw a bollywood movie preview for Chandni Chowk to China, i thought it was kinda crazy and hilarious, but apparently that’s how they do it, they take all the possible big hit movie, from the matrix to kung fu hustle, jam it all in one and turn it into a 2 hr music video
