catch some waves dudes

it’s been a year since the last surfing trip, the 2nd annual surf/camping was last weekend at tofino again, with all the couples (jen-eric/nay-lo) and new one! (mich-nick, someone can come up with a name for it) this time we got smarter, and i booked bella pacifica way back in january for a spot, i have to say, it’s not a bad campground, although the spots we got were pretty tiny, if you somehow able to get the beach front ones – they are literally at the beach front, you just have to take the stairs down and there’s sand, it’s totally awesome, and expensive for camping ($50 something plus fees per night?), anyway, i was happy with ours, close to bathroom and water and the front, it did get super cold at night, and i think i really should just get air mattress for camping next year, even though i don’t like it, it’s probably better than having backpain when you wake up, on top of the headspins

and go mazda3, i only use one tank of gas for going there AND back, driving took about 2.5 hrs, and it’s actually fun – up and down and windy, if you don’t have to drive at 6am. last year we didn’t bring enough food, this year we got way too much, nick was awesome at planning and cooking food, thanks dood, and yayer for cooking over fire with skewers, it works for everything but giant breakfast sausages

surfing’s still super hard, but atleast we had awesome sun this time, and no lesson this time = 6hr rental fun and less $$!

and carlo sux at cards, ha ha

  1. Great article ! You’ve made some very astute observations and I appreciate the time you’ve taken in your writing. It is plain to see that you understand what you are talking about. I am excited to read more of your sites content.

  2. So not really on the same topic as your post, but I found this today and I just can’t resist sharing. Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told him, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you the check. Oh, and by the way…don’t worry about my Doberman. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT under ANY circumstances talk to my parrot!” When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Agathe’s apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Doberman he had ever seen. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”
