i have like… 5 days left, i need to finishing writing new years card tonight, pack all my luggage tmrw night except 1 1/2 outfit, and send my modem back to yahoo on fri (no internet for 2 days!), but yesterday, one of my wish has come true just before i leave, close enough anyway~ before coming here, from what ive known/seen/heard about japan, i had 3 (maybe more actually) wishes/goals:

• eat kobe beef / matsuzaka beef
• go surfing
• having someone to make me a bento/meal

ya i guess theres others like ride bullet train, go maid cafe (if possible, get pictures too), in winter buy a hot drink to warm up hands (like in doramas), go sing with group of japanese ppl like til who knows when, go to fireworks/matsuri with japanese ppl with yukatas, go to the beach late night and play fireworks, find a bar that you can chill at after work etc

actually i wished i did atleast half of those, if only my summer was like now

*12.20 – theres a line btwn achieving your wish/goal, and going over your head for it (actually… i dont know what im saying), anyway, ya i ate one thing that i wanted to do before i leave, the JUMBO TONKATSU meal at Tonkatsu Taishyo, and im just gonna say, its freakin sick, 無理　無理　無理、GG i got pwned, cabbage mtn is insano, i like to see will the kid eating monster or luke bottomless stomach to take that (those just came into my head)

its all about going out and drink and see the few cool ppl i know for one last time, finish up all my work, get **** paid for the site i made, write some xmas/new years cards for the first time ever, and the most important of all, cram my house into my 2 luggages, and at this moment, 1 luggage is kinda full with almost NO CLOTHES in it, and no gifts packed in (not that i have a lot of clothes, but still, enough clothes to fit 1)

and i think im gonna get even more screwd b/c i have 2 separate flight, and for international flight, canada is kind and lets me have 2 baggages with 32kg ea, while if you were to fly lots other countries you are only allowed to have 20kg in total… my problem is since my 2 flights are separate, one is domestic and one international, i cant check in my baggages as international trip and i have to follow the domestic rules, whateva that is b/c i cant even find it on the net for some reason (and i dont know the japanese text for such thing), but … i dont think its possible at all to pack a house into 2 baggages that doesnt exceed 20kg, gg

*btw the penalty for exceeding weight restriction is 20000yen per baggage (i think) = $200 cdn, its time to get a crate

*12.15.06 – i went for a quick drink at Air Hearts again yesterday (the cool bar by my house), and somehow, i have became a little “famous” there, there was just me and this other girl that i have never seen, and as i was talking to the bartender and about to leave, the girl heard my name and said, oh hey andy? i heard about that guy, and im just like wth? cool? and apparently my name has been passed around, and “andy” is the young look-like-japanese speaks-multi-language fun-to-chill-with guy (something along that line, i dont understand the japanese), hawesome, too bad i only understand 10-50% of what ppl says

theres a season for every good food in japan it seems, right now its 河豚 blowfish, after in february or march its 伊勢海老 iseiebi, and i forgot summer and i think fall is かに crabs, theres prbbly tons more, because japanese food is ownage, and expensive >< if you eat fugu now, at $$ restaurant, it can easily cost 6000-10000yen, but there are also cheaper places like the one i went with my coworkers, and everyone know its deadly b/c the skin is so spikey, its nuts, ya theres poison inside that even now theres no cure for it, but man those freakin spikes, i had a course meal thing where you get fugu sashimi, fugu chawamushi (mmm), fugu age, and fugu nabe, and then i got the best bowl of rice i ever had in japan in probably fugu soup, who knows, and to top it off, ii had 鰭ざき hirezaki? which was fugu tails soaked in 焼酎 shochu, it was … not blah, and i drank it all, and im still alive, except i lost feeling in my left thumb, but who needs that

my coworker brought a hot girl, non-ugly japanese girls like… doesnt exist (or according to my coworker, really in fukuoka anyway, theres just so many better lookin ones that you never notice the blah ones, or you never had to… i need to go back home), and i was so scrubbed out compare to her (and everyone else i guess), it sux, and she said no dont worry, i dressed casual too~ with her fur neck jacket and gray dress and boots, so i had to use the gaijin excuse for scrubness, and then i couldnt fugu some fugu pictures cause thats another gaijin thing

and ive been drinking too much lately, but theres only about 360 hrs left, and sleeping and working takes 47.2% of it

Kumamoto/Aso

i feel really lazy and i dont wanna write much, aso is freakin cold – 3 degree, and good thing it was decent weather, sun came out sometimes, but i didnt get to see the volcano (again) cause stupid sulphuric gas or something >.< onsen is teh best, im gonna miss it… oh and do not go there when you dont have a car like me, or else, hitchhike is teh way, go gaijin power!

and going to bars and meet random cool jap ppl with your awesome language skills, but 455 comments waiting to be moderated is not cool, go comment spam
