*added*, btw have you ever look at your credit card bill? of course i dont get my statements here so i look online, and last last month i missed my payment (on a huge bill too ;/) that i had to pay like 10 bux + interests on my last bill, so this month’s bill, i was just looking at the statement today, and i only had my phone bill, and with 2 payment received from last time, sounds all good, at the bottom in small, total credit + debit yadda yadda + periodic interest charge $4.xx, right, from what?

“ya i made 2 payments last months and how come this month i got this interest charge thingy, what you guys call it? periodic something?”
“yes the periodic something, lets see, you were late on xx month, and then you have xx interest for last month”
“yes i paid that”
“ya and then last month your total was xx amount”
“yes i paid that too, before due date”
“ya and so… um… ahh k i see, the interest is from the last month’s amount”
“ok, which i paid before the due date” “right, so that’s the interest for last month amount of $269.xx… but you know what, i can just go ahead credit that for you, so your new balance this month is now $43.xx, not $48.xx”
“… ya sure, k thanks, im going to pay $43.xx, see ya later”

i tried collect call but the operator like… said the # didnt exist, so i just dialed the “collect outside canada” # straight up, and i used my company ip phone, w/o telling them lol
OH well.. Also, you should know that interest is based on the TOTAL amount due. I thought it was on the amount remaining. So i had a 1200 dollar bill. I paid 900 of it off before the due date because I thought the interest would then only be based on the 300 dollars remaining. I was wrong. I paid the rest of the 300 3 days after the due date, and on my next statement.. it said I had 12.00 interest to pay. 3 days late = 12 bux? Yah I called in too, and they explained, but I just said fine. But later they also credited my account for the 12 bux after.
I appreciate you for the advice! I’ll give it a try.
