ALL you can sing

my internet is almost here! i got a letter from yahooBB, hopefully i can get them to come in the next week or 2~ everyone says i look stressed or unhappy at work this week ;/ but i think im just tired, and the calls i had to make to home about some stuff (stupid gym), who knows?

went out on the weekend, first i went to get a haircut in the morning, i dont know why, but haircut in japan are like million dollars, if you want a decent cut, my coworker told me a place 3150yen (~30bux) for a cut, and i got a cut like david beckham, the faux-hawk, cause i couldnt’ explain anything else, and then since he thin my hair out a lot, i asked for a wash too, and then at the end, i had to pay 4000yen, that’s 40bux for a cut and wash! mens cut! i could almost go twice in Vancouver!
then at night, the rare occasion, went karaoke with my coworker, 4 people we met at around 9, and then went singing at 9:30, but it was hourly charge still, so only went for an hr and half, took a break for food, and then we went back around 12, freakin at 12 on the street, there’s a billion ppl and karaoke bars are uber packed, and it was raining hard ;/ so ya, went back to the same place, i bought a big can of beer from a convenience store, walked on the street with it, and hid it in my back pocket took it into the place (only in japan lol), and then we freakin sang until 6am in the morning, i simply ran out of songs to sing at the end, and my voice was so cracky, and again, walked home while it’s daylight outside, it’s so like.. normal, there was even a huge line up to pay at that time

it rained all day today, so lame, i wanted to go see the fukuoka castle, or what’s left of it, and coop advisor called me at 11 and woke me up too, i had no voice to talk to her, i had to repeat what i said many times

oh and i think i got hikki ticket, bought it off yahoo auction – no one uses ebay here, my coworker help me bid on it, and i was told it’s SS section (the front middle), 11th row, somewhat middle, for 12100 yen + S&H, original ticket price is 9300 yen, but man, 11th row is freakin close considering the arena size, it’s gonna be so uber

been a while

time to change, just one thing, what country gives out free beer on the street? that’s right, here, oh and, i might’ve lost some people’s comment, sumanai >.<

there’s been many things, but im not gonna bother writing them anymore, i went for a bike ride on the weekend, somewhere really far it seems, if you look at flickr, there’s a pic with a mountain (call something like rice bowl mountain cause the shape), with a tiny tori gate in the middle of it, i went there, and went about half way between tori gate and top of mountain, it was very tiring, cause i’m so out of shape ;/ next time i’ll get to the top, i hope, and i’ll wear pants, because i got giant bug bites, like 2cm diameter, and then i realize i wish i could go camping…

this is from a long time ago, but ya, so i went out for dinner with a coworker to this tempura restaurant, it’s so cool because like when you order the meal off a vending machine, and then they fried everything on the spot, and then you get like pieces by pieces and it’s all super fresh, it was sooooo good

this week sucks, i got shove into a tutoring class without knowing, gg, i’m going to teach her computer graphics, using either photoshop or illustrator, while my supervisor teaches math, so send your kids here, cause we teach everything, not just English

1cent phone!

yay i got a cellphone finally, from AU, the A5518SA, it’s pretty cool, nice and light, white, 1.3mp cam, have like 18mb mem because it’s all about using miniSD here it seems, can have radio, some au messenger chat thing, email (txt msg doesn’t exist here or something), and then the usual stuff. I got kinda lucky because i went to look at phone like last week, and even though apparently you can get vodaphone and bring them back to canada to use, i think they’re oogly and big and… i can’t see myself holding a pda-but-not-thing to my head, but anyway, ya so i picked this 1yen phone, and then yesterday when i want to get it, it’s gone! they took it off the shelf, and i’m just like WTH i got owned… but noooo, they just released new phone models, so i think they took old models off shelf and just bump every other phone $$ down, so now i got my phone for 1yen instead of 5000yen last week, so yay for moi, and i got bunch of weird freebies like ice pack and crayons…?

so ya, over the weekend, 2 of my coworkers took me to a gaijin bar, which is a place where all the foreigners like me hang out, and for all the jap girls to pick up guys who can speak english/engrish, since i can’t say no to drinking, and going to a bar with 2 girls, why would i say no, so we had cool dinner at some izakaya, then we went to the place, it’s called Fubar, and then i realized that, gaijin bar isnt’ a bar, it’s a club! gg me lol, anyway but since i’m there, why not i guess, it was so small, like 3 of my room in surrey + a bar, and you can smoke INSIDE the club, wth, nevertheless, it was still pretty fun, cover was 1500 yen but came with 2 drinks (which is 600 yen if you buy inside), too bad in japan there’s no red bull, or soho, we didn’t leave til 3:30am lol, and then we went karaoke for an hr hahah, and i just had to sing konayuki, it was awesome, jap ppl are so into singing, i didn’t get home till 5am

what’s crazy is that, going karaoke at 3:45am is like normal, it was still busy, and walking home at 4:45am was all fine, the sky is lighting up, and people (the not-so-regular people like me i guess) are just walking on the street, or eating, or drinking, but ya, not like i’d do this every week, it’s like once a month thing because it’s $$ ;p once i get the bike that no one uses at work fixed up, then oh yeah, time to ride everywhere randomly, for no reason, cause i have nothing else to do anyway
