so, i was flipping through my mom’s chatelaine magazine (well it’s just there, and i’m waiting for a game of dota, so why not, it’s either that or my textbook), all these usual woman stuff - clothes, some cool interior design stuff and color matching, woman play poker with healthy choclate crackers ad, tons of healthy-and-looks-delicious-but-may-lack-in-taste-in-real-life food, probably got yoga stuff in there also (what doesn’t have yoga stuff in there nowadays), like i said, the usual

then i turned to this one page, and i found an article that i just HAVE to read, and everyone would agree – “So long, canker sores!” (i didn’t even know that’s how you spell it, i always did “cancor” for some dumb reason), it’s a short story, but i still don’t want to type the whole thing, so here’s the 60 seconds version:

some woman has canker sores for most of her life (i feel your pain), sometimes she can’t even talk, her doctors and dentists recommended topical treatments to numb the pain, then when she got pregnant and began to drink 2 or 3 extra glasses of milk a day, they went away, and when she stopped, it came back, so now she drinks milk everyday

Why does this work? All that milk may be buffering the canker sores, says Jean-Jacques Dugoua, a naturopathic doctor. The calcium in milk – yogurt works even better – helps balance the pH (acidity) level in your mouth, making it a more hospitable environment for healing sores (and then see your doctor/dentists for more preventive tips)

so there, now i shall keep exploring, and read up on “Boost your mood with colour”
